Description
We see the release of one of Nike’s most interesting Dunk colourways to date on the 1st November, the ‘Invert Celtics’. A split construction design, we see two incredible colourways join forces for this interesting take on a legendary silhouette. On the lateral side of the sneaker, we see hairy, luxury suedes dressed in black and pink. The usual Dunk High features can be seen, with the swoosh also dressed in pink perfectly complimenting the rest of the sneaker. As we move towards the medial side of the shoe though, the colourway drastically changes. The materials are completely flipped on their head, with the suede swapping out for luxurious leathers. The colourway also turns to the Boston Celtics themed design which to this day is one of the more iconic colourways to grace a Dunk. The midsole comes in black whilst a pink outsole also features. This sole houses the standard Nike Air technology, which we know makes Dunks unbelievably comfortable. Here’s a fun fact about this shoe for the sneaker photographers and Instagrammers out there. If you were to take a photo of the ‘Invert Celtics’ and invert the colours on your phone, the shoe would appear in the exact opposite colourway. Hence the sneakers nickname. Nike Dunk is having quite a year, and this may be the most exciting take we have seen yet. Be sure to add the ‘Invert Celtics’ to your rotation.
